The MRD series dryers operate using two distinct circuits: a compressed air circuit and a refrigerating circuit.

Compressed Air Circuit

Air to Air Exchange :Incoming hot and humid compressed air first passes through an air-to-air heat exchanger.
Evaporator (Air-Freon Exchanger) : The pre-cooled air then reaches the evaporator, where it is further cooled by the refrigerating circuit until it achieves the desired dew point. This cooling process causes the moisture in the air to condense.

  • Moisture Separator : The condensed moisture is separated and removed via an auto drain system.

  • Refrigerating Circuit:

This circuit is responsible for cooling the air in the evaporator, utilizing Freon to achieve the necessary temperature reduction

Advantages of the MRD Series Dryer:

Energy Efficiency: Pre-cooling the input air allows the refrigerating system to operate with a smaller thermal load, resulting in energy savings of approximately 40-50%.
Prevention of Condensation: The system ensures no cold air is conveyed through the compressed airline, preventing condensation on the external surfaces and piping

This efficient and effective design makes MRD series dryers a superior choice for managing compressed air systems, offering significant energy savings and reliable moisture removal.
